The "Must Have" Traffic Exchange!
One of the best ways to promote your business is by using the free advertising available in traffic exchanges. You view someone’s web page and in turn someone views yours. I have put a lot of people in my businesses like this. It works.
Probably the best way to use a free traffic exchange is with a rotator. A rotator allows you to put multiple sites all from one url.
For example, you have 3 sites you want to advertise on a traffic exchange. You can put all 3 into a rotator and they will be shown in, well, rotation. The benefit to this is that if you belong to several exchanges and you want to change the pages that are being shown, you only have to log into your rotator account and change them instead of logging into all of your traffic exchanges.

When you join a traffic exchange you will be asked to put in your target url. This will be one of your rotators, or the url of whatever website you are advertising. Make sure it is correct and that it doesn't have multiple popups and doesn't break out of the surfbar frame.
It's really quite simple. You log into the exchange or open up the surf page, view the site, usually from 10 to 30 seconds, and when the timer is done counting down, you click the image, or the next button and you have earned yourself credit towards someone else viewing your website. That's why it's called an exchange. It's kinda like a bartering system.
Many people are breaking away from the mold of promoting the same site as everyone else. This is a good idea. Remember, you only have maybe 20 seconds for your page to load and attract a prospect, so it needs to be short, simple and to the point. It also needs to inspire them to click your link or optin to your lead capture list. These types of pages are called Splash Pages.
If you are not that skilled in splash pages, there is good news for you. For a very low monthly membership fee you can create your own splash pages with no knowledge of html. This includes lead capture and a residual monthly income from anyone you bring into the business.
