Stay Focused

It is very easy to get distracted. You think you are working when in fact, you are just wasting time. You are fixing this and tidying up that and reading the other until all of a sudden there is no time to promote your business. Get your machine rolling and clean up the mess later.

Be Persistent

If you think an online business is a good idea and you are going to shake the bush to see if anything comes out, you might as well quit now. You can't dip your toes in the water here and expect results. You MUST be very persistent, almost obsessed with it. You must promote nearly every day. If your desire is less than an "I'VE GOT TO HAVE THIS" attitude, either get it that way or find out what other thing it is in life that you've GOT to have and go get it instead.

Work Your Business With Blinders On

When your friends and family find out that you are selling on the Internet, if they are normal they will try to talk you out of it. In fact, don't even tell them until you have achieved some success. Ignore any negatives they present. Wear blinders so you cannot see the distractions. You are going to sponsor people who will not upgrade or worse yet, those who do, but quit. Get used to it. It's a big part of the network marketing business so PUT YOUR BLINDERS ON. Stick your head in a pillow and scream for awhile then yell NEXT and GET BACK TO WORK!

Don't Rush - Hold Down Expectations

In spite of all the hype and lies on the Internet, this is NOT going to happen overnight. You will NOT make $5000 a week within a couple of months working at home in mlm and sales in your pajamas with no selling and no recruiting and so on and so on. Be prepared to spend from 2-5 years of hard work on the Internet Network Marketing to build up enough income to replace your job, retire, be financially independent or whatever. But ask yourself some questions. If it took you 5 years, wouldn't it be worth it? Is it possible that you wanted those dreams 5 years ago? If you give up, where will you be in the next 5 years? Which brings me to the next point.
