The Internet Marketers Tool Box

Getting Started In Internet Marketing

There are many ways to make money on the Internet. It's best to have multiple income streams. Also, it's best to run businesses that run semi-automated. In other words, you don't have to keep doing the same work over and over to make money because your business is running on autopilot and requires minimal maintenance.

Sounds good, doesn't it? It's very achievable.

There are good businesses and bad businesses to be involved in on the Net. Bad businesses means they are very risky and in the long run they fall apart and a lot of people get hurt.

HYIPs (High Yield Investment Programs) are exciting and look great on the surface, but they ALWAYS fail somewhere down the line. Also, 'double your money' programs are a bad bet. These programs pay veteran members with new members money and eventually the last members into the program lose out. Not good business.

Pay To Read, Paid To Promote and Paid To Click programs are another source of income. You will likely never make very much money with these. They usually pay a few pennies per click and they are not worth your time. You're not looking to make 30 cents a day, but several thousand a month, right?

MLMs (multi-level marketing) are a popular way to make money. Most people never really do well with these, but if you pick the right one they can be a gold mine. Keep in mind, you must be a powerful leader and a go getter to make these work. You must be a team player and help your downline succeed or you will lose them.

eBay and Yahoo! Stores are great ways to make money on the Net. Many people are very successful with these solid businesses. You certainly need to do your homework with these to find out what sells, but with a little research and good business planning you can make a LOT of money with these businesses.

My preference would be Yahoo! Stores because you can set one up and it will run practically on autopilot for you. With eBay, you have to keep coming up with new auctions and monitor them. If you don't mind doing that, you can make some great cash.

If you want to save a lot of time and money and cut the learning curve for Yahoo! Stores, I seriously recommend you spend a few hours getting a good education about it. You can take a look at the best resource I found for it HERE.

The reason I recommend it is because Andy walks you right through, step-by-step, on how to set up your store (it's confusing without the videos he supplies) and he gives you a 200 page ebook that tells you how to find hot sellers and where to find and how to deal with drop shippers and wholesalers. This will make you or break you in Yahoo! Stores so check it out.

Providing a service is another way to make money on the Internet. Marketers need tools, so if you own an advertising site such as FunnyFarmTraffic.com or MuscleMailSafelist.com you can make money. You may not get rich with it, but you can sure make a decent extra income.

Affiliate programs are an excellent way to develop an automated source of income. If you know how to build a web page (and you should if you're going to be in business on the Net) you can create niche sites on topics you are interested in and put advertising on those sites to create and income.
